Tutorial #12

I loved the h2o tut yesterday so much I had to continue with the same author- however, everything was going alright in terms of following instructions but my knack for making it 'natural' and free flowing was halted by the suffocating colors. I'll make another piece with my bro sleeping again.

Tutorial #11

I've been wanting to do this tutorial since last semester ever since I saw it on i.lett's blog. I know it is a bit much but I finally learned to cut out images the easy way from the background! 1st attempt was my stubborn attempt to insert my current "logo" which it isn't really. Realized it was too much and left the space on the left empty.

Post-Critique Labels

My 1st Label in January Pre-Crit:
People had a big problem w/the text and suggested I pick something more playful in terms of font and placement.

Post Crit#1:
I decided to can the above label and go with what Rezvan suggested: have them associated with the fruit of the drink. J.Arias claimed the font to be too heavy with the black and I agree- canned again!!!

Phunnie Characters

These labels are taking a but longer than anticipated but I am so so so happy that my Phunnies are finished. They started as sketches- animals with ears as wings so that they can fly too!

Now.. onto label 2-6!
